Wheelchair Cricket is an adapted version of the sport of cricket, designed for individuals with physical disabilities. Wheelchair Cricket is a fantastic way to promote inclusivity, accessibility, and empowerment for individuals with physical disabilities. Wheelchair Cricket is played with two teams, each with 11 players. The International Wheelchair Cricket Council (IWCC) is the governing body responsible for promoting, developing, and governing Wheelchair Cricket globally. Our mission is to empower individuals with physical disabilities through the sport of cricket, fostering inclusivity, equality, and empowerment worldwide. The IWCC envisions a world where Wheelchair Cricket is a leading international disability sport, providing opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities to participate, compete, and excel.
